A New Collection of Haida Artwork at the Lodge
In partnership with Crystal Cabin Gallery, we’ve curated a collection of exceptional Haida artwork that now fills the lodge with stories of place, culture, and creativity.
Each piece has been thoughtfully selected to help deepen your connection to Haida Gwaii. Helping introduce you to talented Haida artists whose work reflects the rich cultural heritage of these islands.

In Partnership with Crystal Cabin Gallery
This special collection was created in partnership with Crystal Cabin Gallery, a long-standing Haida Gwaii gallery dedicated to showcasing Indigenous art.
Located in Tlell, Crystal Cabin Gallery has been part of the Haida Gwaii community for decades and represents talented Indigenous artists whose work captures the culture, history, landscapes, and stories of the region.
The gallery was founded by Dutes and Laura Dutheil, and their daughter, April, has continued the family’s work. April grew up on Haida Gwaii and has dedicated herself to supporting Indigenous artists and sharing their work with visitors from around the world.
Our relationship with Crystal Cabin Gallery also has a special connection to Haida Gwaii Safaris. Before taking over the family gallery, April worked at our lodge during one of her summers while attending the University of British Columbia.
Years later, that early connection has come full circle.
Today, artwork selected through Crystal Cabin Gallery has become part of the Haida Gwaii Safaris lodge experience.
