Our beautiful, modern lodge build from Sandspit Cedar trees overlooks the picturesque Shingle Bay harbour. We will welcome you at the Sandspit Airport to transport you to the lodge that is three short miles away. The quaint town of Sandspit has only 11 miles of paved road, 2 stops signs and more eagles than residents. Once you arrive at the lodge you will settle in, enjoy some delicious hors d’oeuvres, take a walk on the beach, play horseshoes, shuffleboard or just relax. Our guests rooms accommodate two people per room with private washrooms and showers. Our lodge staff are sincere, professional and you will receive personal service that will be unsurpassed! Haida Gwaii Safaris Lodge is ideal for couples, families, organizations, corporate retreats and the ultimate outdoor enthusiasts.

I have fished with outfitters in the CA, AZ, NM, AK, MX and Baja. Haida Gwaii Safaris has a refined operation that has every detail of your experience covered. The Accommodations, the Staff, the Captains, the Fishing, the Cuisine , the Travel, and the Lodge are flawless. Valerie the owner, has a heart of gold. She is hands on during your stay , and checks in personally to ensure an amazing adventure is had by all. God willing, I will go back.

"Last June my sons, son-in-law and six year old grandson and I went to Queen Charlotte Safaris Lodge. When we arrived in Sandspit, we were greeted at the airport by very friendly staff. Fishing was amazing and in between catching fish, we were able to watch humpback whales. We were presented with an amazing meal each night and the lodge was immaculate and very well-kept."
